loading you personal settings is slow

you just need to drill down to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SOFTWARE -> Microsoft -> Windows ->
CurrentVersion -> Policies -> System
Then: Edit/New/DWORD Value - give it the name
of 'verbosestatus'.
Then: Edit/Modify - set 'Value Date' to 1.
